Production technologies of composite materials with low environmental impact.
Following the lines of development of the Circular Economy, the research and related projects concern the production of components for the transport fields using composite materials reinforced by natural fibers and/ or recycled fibers. In particular, the research includes the analysis and development of technologies for the mechanical recycling of glass and carbon fibers reinforcing composite materials, the analysis of the manufacturing processes for the production of components with recycled materials or with natural fibers and finally the study of the mechanical properties based on the process parameters adopted for the realization of the components.
