YOUNG RESEARCHER AWARD

The Young Researcher “Edoardo Capello” award, a prize from the Italian Association of Manufacturing Technologies (A.I.TE.M.) to its young members. Giovane Ricercatore “Edoardo Capello” rivolto ai giovani ricercatori membri dell’A.I.TE.M.

During the A.I.TE.M. conference, which takes place every two years, a plenary session is dedicated to scientific works on innovative manufacturing methodologies and technologies. Each work must have a maximum of three authors, the first one being under the age of 35 (at the moment of submission) and able to take part to the Conference to personally present the paper.

Articles must be original, not previously submitted for publication to any other journal or conference, and written in English. Proposals, in the form of summaries, are evaluated for paper submission by the Editorial Committee according to the consistency of their topic with the Association’s subject areas.

The papers selected by the Editorial Committee will be admitted to the oral presentation, and a commission named by the A.I.TE.M. President will evaluate the works and proclaim the winner of the Young Researcher “Edoardo Capello” award among the articles’ main authors.

The prize consists of a specially forged medal and a certificate, handed to the winner during the Conference.
