MOST National Center (CUP D83C22000690001) is the National Center for Sustainable Mobility funded under Mission 4 Component 2 Investment 1.4 - Strengthening research facilities and creation of "national R&D champions" on some Key Enabling Technologies of the PNRR (MUR Notice no. 3138 of 16-12-2021). The project, which provides for ministerial funding of almost 320 million euros, against a total investment of 377 million, and the participation of 49 public and private partners is divided into 14 lines of intervention based on 5 mobility vectors and 9 technologies, strongly interconnected. The objectives of the CNMSS, achievable through specific research and innovation programmes and activities, range from resolving the greener mobility system by promoting innovative "sustainable mobility", to finding the safest mobility system: promoting digital products and processes to promote intelligent management, monitoring and predictive maintenance, reducing fatal accidents, operating costs and increasing the level of security of the whole mobility system, create a personalized and accessible mobility enabling technological integration for implementation in real contexts and a new social inclusion through digital innovation for all types of users and strengthen industrial skills and national/regional policies to support institutions by identifying priorities and strategies for a parallel and osmotic development of industrial research and application.
