{"id":12666,"date":"2021-06-30T15:49:12","date_gmt":"2021-06-30T13:49:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aitem.org\/?p=12666"},"modified":"2023-05-16T14:58:19","modified_gmt":"2023-05-16T12:58:19","slug":"cirp-biom-v-cirp-conference-on-biomanufacturing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aitem.org\/en\/cirp-biom-v-cirp-conference-on-biomanufacturing\/","title":{"rendered":"CIRP-BioM: V CIRP Conference on Biomanufacturing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Calabria, Italy, 22-24<sup>th<\/sup> June 2022<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>fifth CIRP Conference on Biomanufacturing<\/strong>, organized by the Italian <strong>Universities of Brescia and Calabria<\/strong> with the support of <strong>AITEM<\/strong> (the Italian Association of Manufacturing Technologies), will take place in Calabria, Italy, from 22<sup>nd<\/sup> to 24<sup>th<\/sup> June 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CIRP<\/strong>, the World Academy for Production Engineering, plays a key role in biomanufacturing, promoting multidisciplinary research towards the development of <strong>medical and welfare devices and systems<\/strong> for improving quality of life and reducing global healthcare costs.<\/p>\n<p>CIRP BioM is designed to be an international <strong>forum<\/strong> to discuss progress and future directions in biomanufacturing, and to facilitate the <strong>exchange of information<\/strong> on <strong>bio inspired design, bio fabrication, and bio mechatronics<\/strong>. CIRP-BioM 2022 follows the 1<sup>st<\/sup> CIRP-BioM in Tokyo in 2013, the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in Manchester in 2015, the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> in Chicago in 2017 and the 4<sup>th<\/sup> in Guangzhou in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Conference Chairs are Prof. <strong>Elisabetta Ceretti<\/strong> (University of Brescia) and Prof. <strong>Luigino Filice<\/strong> (University of Calabria).<\/p>\n<p>The submission deadline is <strong>15<sup>th<\/sup> November 2021<\/strong>.
