Manufacturing Industry 4.0 Laboratory (MInd4Lab) of Department of Management and Production Engineering (DIGEP), established thanks to the funding program for Dipartimenti di Eccellenza 2018-2022, is the hub of DIGEP's research and experimentation activity in the technological field.
The laboratory is divided into the following macro-areas: (i) a metrological room equipped with automatic systems at nano, micro and macro level for mechanical and geometrical characterization of surfaces; (ii) an area equipped with collaborative and mobile robots used for assembly processes, with the support of different laser and image sensors, and for manufacturing processes in an industrial IoT infrastructure; (iii) an automatic warehouse for the simulation and optimization of warehouse management operating processes and their logistics.
